Owens Corning Fabwel is the industry leader that in partnership with our
customers, manufacture composite exterior products for the RV market.
OC FABWEL serves the Recreational Vehicle (RV), Cargo trailer, Marine
and Transportation markets in the U.S. Product offerings produced in the
Riverside facility include RV Doors, laminated walls and floor systems
along fabricated aluminum & steel products/panels for the Cargo trailer
markets.
As a leader within Owens Corning, an individual must demonstrate
experience at being and holding others accountable for working safely
while providing appropriate resources to ensure incident-free
operations.
In addition, the successful candidate must have experience at driving
for a vision of zero injuries, zero defects and step-change productivity by
ensuring alignment with and supporting the Companys vision and values.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- An unconditional commitment toward achieving zero accidents...driving
the OC Safety stand. Leading by example.
- Demonstrates OC's Leadership Competencies.
- Tracks cost & performance metrics daily that drive continuous
improvements to bottom line, IFO results.
- Support and maintain an actively engaged primary workforce.
- Continually raises the bar to improve the team's overall performance
(Performance Obsessed)
- Leads and supports the plant initiatives, Six Sigma, 5S, etc. to
eliminate waste and improve safety via best in class housekeeping.
- Identifies and communicates safety, quality and productivity
expectations to primary workforce and monitors results.
- Coordinates activities and communicate clearly with other Maintenance,
Warehouse Operations and Planning and Scheduling
- Develops direct reports through coaching & counseling, establishing
performance goals and measuring accomplishments
- Consistently apply plant policies and procedures
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a degree in Manufacturing Operations, Business or related
field. Experience supervising a diverse workforce in a heavy manufacturing
environment. Bilingual Spanish/English is highly desirable.
EDUCATION:
- 4 year degree in Business or related experience
EXPERIENCES/COMPETENCIES/LANGUAGES:
Languages:
- English required with bilingual in Spanish is preferred
