Cultured Stone produces and provides the most desired, highest quality
manufactured stone veneer products in the world. The Napa facility is
Cultured Stone's oldest facility. Napa, CA is located approx. 1 hour
North
of San Francisco, CA. The plant and on-site distribution center covers
over 36 acres and employs approximately 1500 employees.
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Maintenance Leader in the development and execution of a
comprehensive plant reliability strategy.
- Root Cause failure analysis on chronic Maintenance and control issues
developing solutions, improving reliability and reducing life-cycle
cost.
- Promoting consistency by standardizing equipment, procedures and
operations
- Providing daily support for troubleshooting, planning, and repair
- Training and developing others in reliable concepts and techniques
- Assuring the delivery of reliable equipment from engineering concept
to
production.
- The incumbent will have an overriding priority towards safety and the
environment and will work diligently to help develop a zero accident
environment
Essential Experience/Skills:
- Strong Mechanical skills
- Moderate Electrical skills
- Process Control: concepts of variation, SPC, FMEA
- Utilize data and data collection systems, and 6-sigma methods for problem-solving and decision-making to eliminate manufacturing losses and unnecessary costs.
- Provide input into the capital planning process
- Provide guidance and input into the design engineering process to ensure equipment is engineered for reliability
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in an engineer discipline or an Associates degree in Industrial Technology
- Previous Manufacturing experience
